Siemens A/S was awarded the contract and has designed, delivered and installed the systems at Station Everdrup. The compressor system (electrically driven centrifugal compressor unit) consists of 5 components of daily speech train: compressor, gear, engine, frequency converter and transformer. At the compressor station, standby trains have been established so that there is always backup (redundancy). This is necessary for the sake of security of supply and Denmark's obligation to ensure continuous supply through Baltic Pipe to Poland. The components of the train are specially designed and covered by the guarantee from the manufacturer Siemens.
