(Miscellaneous engineering services) The purpose of traffic registrations is to collect traffic data for use in the overall traffic planning. Use of traffic registrations takes place in connection with road safety, environmental conditions, capacity, road maintenance and similar tasks. Finally, traffic registrations are made for statistical reports of the development in traffic volume or speed on the road network. The Road Directorate has previously provided traffic registrations in 2002, 2007 and 2011. The Road Directorate wishes that all of the tasks described in connection with traffic registrations are performed externally. The assignment includes fixed measurements and regular services as well as ad hoc and special assignments. The Road Directorate is working to automate the registrations for a changed future on the state roads, so that during the contract period, a significant reduction in the extent of the measurements may occur.
