House 16 - like its twin house 18 - was built in 1912 in a pavilion construction. A two-storey extension is added. The aim of the structural redesign of the Carl Friedrich Flemming Clinic is to improve patient accommodation and to restructure the functional areas within the respective clinic. For this purpose, the existing building will be converted, refurbished and adapted to the applicable building regulations. The renovated old building then houses, among other things. Common areas with kitchens, therapy rooms, doctor's rooms, offices for doctors, psychologists and social workers as well as changing rooms and technical rooms in the basement. In the future, the patient rooms, the nurses' base, work rooms will be located in the 2-storey extension.
