Contract award notice: Örebro: grocery, fresh and frozen food. Örebro municipality has about 140,000 inhabitants and is the population of Sweden~s seventh largest municipality. The municipality is the municipal government organized with three overall program committees and 21 administrations. Number of employees with salaries in the municipality amounts to about 11 000 people, turnover amounted to 6.9 billion SEK in 2014. Historically, this tender announced for the entire county, including Arboga, Kungsor and Koping. With this procurement divided this large unit into smaller geographical parts and Örebro Municipality advertised here for himself. The purpose of the division we are implementing is to the extent possible, allow more players to respond to this inquiry by the geographical breakdown. From an environmental perspective, taking Örebro is also a step forward and face a distribution center. The distribution center is in operation 01.12.2015 there food under this Agreement shall be delivered. All deliveries must be customer-packed ie the containers shall be divided so that each client can easily get their goods, even if those in the distribution co-distributed to the same delivery point. The municipality hereby invite you to submit tenders for the municipality~s need for food (colonial: fresh and frozen range) according to catalog specifications. The contract is based on the terms and conditions set forth in this inquiry, including appendices. In 2014 the municipality bought wholesale catalog of about 68 000 000. Stated volume is an estimate only, no volumes are guaranteed during the contract period. Örebro is a contracting authority (Reg. No: 212000-1967) for the procurement and the planned contract duration is two years with possibility of extension 1 + 1 year.
