The types of services required include: customer service and technical support; calibration, maintenance (routine and preventive) and certification of equipment. This action is undertaken in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b), soliciting from a single source, on the basis that Instron is the only known source capable of meeting the government’s requirements for calibration and maintenance.
