The procurement is divided into three (3) parts, where each part of the procurement consists of the need of one (1) subscriber. A framework arrangement will be established for the procurement of park transformers, in which two (2) or three (3) suppliers will be selected for each part of the procurement, unless there are fewer bidders. Each of the subscribers participating in the joint procurement will conclude a framework agreement with the suppliers selected for its share of the framework agreement. Selection for a framework agreement does not confer on the supplier the exclusive right to supply products and services. Customers operate in a security-critical industry, where continuity of supply management and access to spare parts are important. Subscribers aim for a 3 + 2 + 2 year contract period for the framework agreement. The contract period, which is binding on all parties to the framework agreement, is from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2023. In addition, the acquisition includes two (2) two (2) year option periods, the exercise of which may be decided separately by each subscriber. Subscribers decide to exercise the option period no later than six (6) months before the start of the option period. Each subscriber makes a decision on the use of the option period on a supplier-by-supplier basis.
