This award notice regards the award of the contract for the supply and installation of conveyor belts which will form part of the metal sorting plant. Scope of supply: 1. Design and supply of conveyor belts and feeding system, incl. steel structures; 2. Transportation of conveyor belts, feeding system, and steel structures to Afatek site in Copenhagen; 3. Installation of conveyor belts, feeding system, and steel structures; 4. Project management for the complete project, including detailed engineering and coordination with suppliers of screens and sorting machines; 5. Detailed project, installation, commissioning, performance test. The supplier of conveyors will deliver complete units of conveyors with steel structures, carry out a detailed project including a mounting plan, deliver the equipment on the site in Copenhagen, carry out the mounting work and participate in test run of the plant. The conveyor supplier will also carry out coordination of the detailed projection of the entire/total plant (the coordination/project management between the three different suppliers/contracts), installation on the site, test run and the process of commissioning of the plant. Because AFATEK A/S did not receive any admissible or acceptable tenders at the initial tender deadline, the procurement procedure was annulled on 13 February 2015 and AFATEK A/S entered into a negotiated procedure, cf. the Public Procurement Directive (dir. 2004/18/EC), article 30, section 1 (a), with REMA Anlagenbau GmbH regarding the contract for conveyor belts.
