The FAA has used the ATSA for the past five years, and intends to continue administering it until September 2026, at which time a new validated test or test battery (hereafter, test) must be implemented. Prior to implementation, the new test must be tested and launched by our test administration vendor on their platform. Given the lengthy and safety-critical nature of the test development and validation process, the FAA is seeks to begin the process now. The purpose of this contract is to retain a properly qualified contractor to develop and validate a new pre-employment controller selection test to replace the ATSA.
