By making a new station of Connections 220 kV near the station of the Iron Gates II, connected by a 220 kV D.C. (double circuit) new, at LEA 220 kV D.C. br existing iron gates I - fortress (circuit 1). This involves the creation of a new station of 220/110 kV, in accordance with the requirements of CNTEI Transelectrica SA regarding primary and secondary installations. The 220kv Ostrovu Mare station will be located in Mehedinti county, near the existing station 110/20/6 kv Ostrovu Mare belonging to SC Hidroelectrica SA, which is in the immediate vicinity of the Iron Portile II.
