Contract award: Flood risk management plans River Basin Water District of East Macedonia and Thrace (parts of the FOD of the regions An. Macedonia, Thrace, Central Macedonia, outside the basin p. Short description of the contract The project aims to meet the country~s obligations with regard to the implementation of Directive 2007/60 / EC on the assessment and management of flood risks and the provisions of the Joint Ministerial Decision HP 31822/1542 / E103 / 21.7.2010 which incorporated the Directive into national law. More specifically, the aim of the study is the satisfaction of Articles 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Directive (Articles 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of JMD HP 31822/1542 / E103 / 21.7.2010). It has become the preliminary flood risk assessment in all water districts of the country, under Articles 4 and 5 of Directive 2007/60 / EC and Articles 4 (Fri the 2nd) and 5 of JMD HP 31822/1542 / E103 / 21.7.2010 to reduce the negative effects on human health, the environment, cultural heritage and economic activity associated with floods in water districts: YDGR11 East Macedonia and Thrace YDGR12 outside the catchment area of the p. Ebro studied in under another contract. Under Directive 2007/60 / EC and CMD HP 31822/1542 / E103 / 21.7.2010 has become the preliminary flood risk assessment se all water districts of the country and major historical floods have been identified, their impact, and zones are potentially at risk of flooding. The object of this study include under water districts of East Macedonia and Thrace (parts of Comp belonging to the Regions of Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Central Macedonia, outside the basin p. Ebro) and pursuant to the abovementioned national and Community law the following: 1. Establishment of flood hazard maps in areas potentially at risk of flooding. 2. Training flood risk maps in areas potentially at risk of flooding. 3. Drafting flood risk management plan for each Water District with the main objective to reduce the potential negative consequences of floods on human health, the environment, cultural heritage and economic activity. 4. Write the relevant Strategic environmental assessment (SEA) under the Ministry JMD / EYPE / Fin. 10717 / 5.8.2006. 5. Consultation on the Management Plan and SEA in accordance with the requirements of the Directive and the relevant legislation respectively. 6. The suspension of the study results to the European Environment Agency~s database, the database of EGY and on the website of the ministry.
