Award date : feb 08, 2022 Additional Information : This two-phase project will involve the design & consultation (phase 1) and fabrication & installation (phase 2) of interpretive/interactive displays for the Visitor Center at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. The objective of the project is to fit out the newly renovated Visitor Centre to function as a hub for the Park with interactive displays and exhibits that reflect the following themes: The history, geology, and ecology of the Buffalo Pound area of the Qu'Appelle River Valley and why it attracted both First Nations and settlers.First Nations Culture and History as well as the connection to Bison and the Buffalo Pound. It is expected that the successful Supplier will consult with the Ministry's Senior Indigenous Advisor and with the Royal Saskatchewan Museum as well as engage First Nations groups to gather input and create interpretive exhibits in line with the outcomes of these consultations.Recreation With angling, boating, biking, hiking, beaches and other amenities, Buffalo Pound Provincial Park has recreational activities that are very diverse.
