In some patients there is a need that can be scanned while sitting in a wheelchair and the other to scan below for these patients are diagnosed correctly. Furthermore, the department needs to scan some patients from Hammel Neuro Center, which can only be scanned sitting, as they can not breathe when lying down. In addition, the region needs to make MR scans on claustrophobic patients. Currently, Bay State does not have an open MRI scanner, and claustrophobic patients get sent for scanning at private clinics. Based on the Central Denmark Region~s knowledge and studies of the market, it must be concluded that Parameds MRI scanner is the only one on the market that can meet the above requirements. Against this background, the Central Denmark Region~s assessment that the purchase can be made in a negotiated procedure without prior publication of a call for tenders under Article 32. 2, point b, ii); see. TVergG § 80 paragraph. 3 pt. 2.
