The expansion size of the sewage treatment plant is currently 11,000 EW. In the years 2022- 2023, the city of Horstmar intends to expand the sewage treatment plant with a 4. Cleaning stage and to carry out energy saving measures. The goal is on the one hand the elimination of microshat fabrics by means of a powder activated carbon adsorption stage with downstream sedimentation.
