In the implementation of a deep foundation of the bridge was in the course of drilling large diameter piles at a depth of 18 m encountered a layer of liquid sands. This layer prevent further drilling and borehole constantly subsidizing strong inflow of water and sand. Due to this fact, the drilling pilots in agreement with the geologist stopped (see SD pp. 462,163). Following an agreement with the designer of the pilot was also equipped with reinforcements, then concreted and designer SO modified method of increasing the number of foundation piles and adjusting their length. For reasons difficult geotechnical conditions (level artesian ceiling) was needed more room for maneuver for drilling machinery. The gas of the increase in volume odkopávek and backfilling. With regard to the actual mined material at the site of the bridge was changed backfill material for the abutments and their surroundings. The extracted material will be improved, this will achieve a better geotechnical parameters, time consolidation of backfill under the new roads and saving high-strength geotextiles.
