The PathWest Department of Immunology at the QEII Medical Centre (Immunology QEII) provides a diagnostic laboratory test service for autoantibodies, allergy, immunodeficiency and complement deficiencies. Immunology QEII also provides a diagnostic biopsy service, cutting and staining 4 micron sections of frozen biopsies by direct immunofluorescence for examination and reporting by the department~s Immunopathologists. PathWest is seeking Offers for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of one (1) Cryostat instrument. Optional post-warranty maintenance for a period of up to four (4) years forms part of this Request. The Cryostat is required to freeze and section biopsies for direct immunofluorescence staining, among other applications.
