The major cyber-attack upon HSE IT systems (and services) on 14th May 2021 severely impacted the infrastructure upon which the Maternal & Newborn Clinical management System resides. Despite a successful recovery the attack has left the platform with an unacceptable level of instability. This notice is to cover the move to a remote hosted solution with the vendor. The transfer to a remote hosting model will restore the platform to the required level of stability. , Furthermore, an upgrade to the latest version of code will enable hospitals take advantage of enhanced functionality and strengthen the cyber security and stability of MN-CMS.
