Overview	Contract Award's Details : Mids - CDF Lot 2 - Surfleet Sluice DAI Defra Network eTendering Portal Commercial Lead Defra is looking to recruit three senior Commercial Managers to shape Commercially the development of the Weybridge Scientific Estate over the next 10 years. Whilst the roles will be at the same grade and the same level of technical and competency experience, the roles will focus in three areas; Professional Services, Construction Contracts and Critical Projects. As such there will be the need to collaborate and agree the overarching supply chain strategy for Weybridge. As Senior Commercial Manager, you will report into the Commercial Director to lead the day to day Commercial and Procurement delivery of the SCAH programme. You will specifically be responsible for managing critical projects within all aspects of construction. You will also be responsible for managing and overseeing a team of up to 8 staff (in peak periods) on the procurement and contract management of the multiple projects and packages of work across the site. The correct candidate will be working closely with a team of senior appointees who will be responsible for programme management and resourcing, new build/design and construction, operations and change management and works to support operational continuity during the transition. Governance, Reporting and Assurance This is a complex programme with both construction and high containment science at its heart. While you will report to the Commercial Director of the SCAH Programme, you will be required to comply with Defra group Commercial standards, governance and assurance processes.
