The procurement is done through negotiated procedure without prior advertising according to LOU (2016: 1145) 6 Chapter 14 §§ PKT 2 and Chapter 6 §§ 17 PKT 2B. Region Uppsala intends to sign an agreement with Brainlab Sales GmbH after voluntary contract block (10 days) expired. In order to achieve full functionality for intended use in order to offer patient -safe, highly specialized and advanced neurosurgery, it is necessary that the software is of the same make and contains requested functions. This update can only be performed by a supplier. A change of supplier would mean that Region Uppsala was forced to acquire equipment ...
