A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this Request. Rorie Reserve is a steep bushland reserve with a natural drainage channel running through the site. The drainage line is a remnant creek line of a small catchment draining to Salt Pan Creek. The waterway is significantly impacted by urbanisation. Both upstream and downstream of the waterway has been developed and the existing remnant channel is now an altered, isolated waterway between residential areas. The creek is piped upstream and downstream of Rorie Reserve. The key components of the restoration works are: Removal of non-native vegetation Pipe extension and filling of gully Swale and bund Rock chute Bank battering and rock armouring Sewer protection Revegetation Maintenance access track Stabilisation works at the outlet Refer to drawings which are separately attached to this document.
