It provides, among other things, 25% of the MO-99 market. In order to ensure the continuity of future delivery, a new plant will be built, with a first line commissioned in 2024 and a second in 2028. It will produce MO-99 via reaction of energetic photons (generated by a linear accelerator of powerful electrons) on an MO-100 target. The MO-99 thus produced will be chemically treated and dosed, according to the customer's needs, in ?hot? cells. To this end, the IRE needs a project manager to monitor this investment which will include a research and development phase (in progress), a manufacturing phase, integration and licensing of the production process.
