With growing importance, however, the requirements for the reliability and safety of such systems also increase. In order to determine the actual quality, security and usability of a biometric system, extensive, practical test with many - partly more than 1 000 test persons and profound vulnerability analysis must be carried out. For this purpose, the technical properties of biometric sensors as well as the biological foundations are scientifically analyzed and developing new biometric technologies. The gained insights should be conveyed in the form of consultations, training and workshops practical.
