The construction of the R3 expressway in the section Tvrdošín - Nižná nad Oravou (Municipality of Nižná) will be realized in the proposed category R 24.5/100 in half the profile with adjustment of width conditions at the beginning and end of the section with respect to the previous and subsequent section of the expressway R3. In the section from km 3,900 to bridge 206 (km 4.160), the expressway will be built in full profile (category R 24.5/100). Only the right side of the expressway after km 4.400 will be built behind the bridge 206. The end of the modification is designed at a km of 4,400 work station, where the branch of the Nižná Settlement intersection of 1.2 km will be connected to the I/59 road through the Nižná and the Nižná-Sever roundabout. 2.
