To this end, we require a system that is able to produce a minimum of three algal species such as, Isochrysis sp Tahitian, Pavola lutheri and Chaetoceros sp.Using a continuous system of production the system must be able to produce approximately 1,000 litres per day of harvest high-quality alga and at what is considered to be a standard harvest cell density for each species concerned. The algae will be stored in a collection tank for later dosing into a shellfish production system. The system is to be used within a semi-commercial shellfish hatchery research project.The system must be capable of expanding by approximately 20 50% in future.The system must be a complete solution and include all essential hardware.The room that the system will be installed in measures approximately 7m x 3m. Bidders should include their recommendations on the necessary room size and specification (e.g. dimensions, floor coverings, etc.), facilities, services (e.g. electricity, lighting, air conditioning, water, gas, filtration, etc.), access, and layout within their response.The system must fully operate with other external appliances such as:- A mechanism for maintaining biosecurity;- Other electrical devices, and- Aeration.Bidders are invited to assess the layout of the current facility and equipment prior to submitting a response.
