Comoros - PPF-Maritime transport corridor development and regional trade facilitation project

This project concerns the PPF-Project to develop a maritime transport corridor and facilitate regional trade. It will make it possible to carry out the missing studies required to ensure the environmental, social, climatic, technical, economic and financial feasibility and/or viability of the planned infrastructure development, and to enable the Bank to finalise the project's appraisal. In other words, the aim is to improve the quality of entry to the project to develop maritime corridors in the Comoros and facilitate regional trade. The project consists of a set of activities structured into four (04) main components as follows: A) Related Infrastructure & Equipment; B) Regional and Inter-island Trade Facilitation; C) Related Developments & Support to Economic Empowerment of Women and Youth; and D) Institutional Capacity Building and Project Management.
