This Project is designed to support promote access to employment, the socio-professional integration of young people and the financial inclusion of young women. It’s an operation initiated to provide support to the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo in its efforts in these areas. This project is part of the dynamics of the first peaceful alternation at the top of the State where employment, socio-professional integration of young people and financial inclusion of young women have been set among the country's major priorities through the establishment of the Integrated Emergency Programme for Community Development (PUIDC). This project therefore aims to contribute to the capacity building of State institutions likely to significantly accelerate the improvement of the conditions of access to employment and the socio-professional integration of young people and the financial inclusion of young women. The project will focus on: (i) support for the establishment of innovative mechanisms likely to accelerate the improvement of conditions for job creation and socio-professional integration opportunities for youth as well as the financial inclusion of young women at the bottom of the social pyramid and (ii) support for capacity building of institutions implementing the PUIDC.
