This project concerns the Economic Diversification for Job Creation for Youth and Women through MSME Linkage Program. It aims to facilitate economic diversification, particularly for job creation for youth and women, a Linkage and a Local Content Project targeting the MSMEs sector will be part of an effective intervention to provide a range of technical assistance (TA) and advisory services (AS). The project will provide institutional support and strength to several public and private sector players, particularly the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Business Promotion; the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forests and Environment, the Ministry of Mines/Hydrocarbons, the One Stop Shop for Business (Guichet Unique), on Policy changes/infrastructure Upgrade, as well will engage with private sector players particularly Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) such the Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Business Association, Association of Local Producers, Association of Construction Companies, Association of Banks, the National Alliance of Hydrocarbons Services Companies (NAHSCO), will support several Enterprise Support Organizations (ESOs), such as business incubators, and Business Development Services providers (BDSPs), to upgrade their capabilities and create a coordinated ecosystem of providers which could be in position to support the current project and future ones. The project has five main components namely: (i) Project Management; (ii) Business Enabling Environment; (iii) Institutional Support to ESOs; (iv) Technical Assistance and Advisory Services; (v) Finance and Markets.
