Gabon - Drawing up the 2024-2028 health and pharmaceutical map of Gabon

Following the request from the Ministry of Health (Ref.: No. 000993/MS/CAB-M/PF-BADEA dated June 24, 2024), requesting financial support of 210.6 million CFA francs (264,323.87 UC) for the development of Gabon's health map, which is essential for guiding the country's health policy. On this basis, the Department of Human Capital, Youth, and Skills Development prepared a submission to the Technical Assistance Fund for Middle-Income Countries (FAT PRI), which received a favorable opinion from the Grant Allocation Committee for an amount of 375,000 UC. The Department's request was for 375,000 UC because, after its initial request, the ministry mentioned other complementary activities related to the pharmaceutical sector and the revision of other planning and strategic documents.
