Guinea Bissau - Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) Control Support Project - PALPC

The Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) Control Support Project – PALPC is designed in response to the virus. It will make it possible to urgently support the health response in addition to the actions already supported by the partners at the national level and the regional support in progress with ECOWAS and taking into account Guinea Bissau’s needs in the fight against COVID-19. In addition, the Project will contribute to the capacity building of the High Commission in COVID-19 control as well as that of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Decentralisation in order to improve their implementation and regional coordination capacity. The PALPC will be implemented through three (3) components, namely: (i) Support for community ownership and engagement; (ii) Support for health system resilience (iii), and Project management and coordination.
