The project has three mutually reinforcing components: i) Technology Gap Analysis to assess the impact of technology on AREE operations from both the water and the electricity sector, with the later prioritized and draw detailed IT business requirements of key functions selected to be digitized out of outcomes informed by the assessment; ii) Development and operationalization of the MIS tool following the defined implementation and technical specifications roadmap; iii) Sensitization workshops, Dissemination and Project Management to reinforce the regulator human capacity and to raise awareness of the project among stakeholders at the national and global stage. The timeframe for project implementation is 3 years, starting from signing of the grant agreement timeline expected in December 2022 and will end in June 2025.
