All these challenges contribute to fragility situations that result in negative effects on sustainable development. This project emanates from the need to strengthen member states' capacity in arms management in order to reduce fragility that results in negative effects on sustainable development. The expected outcomes of the project include strengthened RECSA capacity for coordination of SALW interventions and improved arms management by the aforementioned member states. The project will run for 24 months at an estimated total cost of UA 1.0 million.
