Multinational – Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation Programme, Phase III (TAAT III)
Detail:
The Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation Phase III (TAAT III) is a multinational regional public goods operation covering 37 African Development Fund (ADF) eligible countries, designed to scale up proven agricultural technologies and strengthen climate resilience across Africa. The total cost of the project is estimated at UA 13.764 million, of which UA 12.4 million is financed through an African Development Fund grant under the Regional Public Goods window, while the remaining UA 1.364 million is contributed in cash and in kind by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), the executing agency. TAAT III builds on the achievements of TAAT Phases I and II and is implemented by IITA in close collaboration with Regional Economic Communities, national agricultural research and extension systems, CGIAR centers, and private sector partners, in alignment with the African Development Bank’s “Feed Africa” strategy and the Decade Strategy 2024–2033.
