Multinational - NEPAD-IPPF - Access Roads and Connection Routes to the Future Road-Rail Bridge Between Congo and DRC

The preparatory activities for which the NEPAD-IPPF assistance is requested concern the feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) and preparation of bidding documents in view of the construction of the Yie - Maloukou Trechot road (26 km) and the upgrading of the Yie – Special economic zone of Maloukou Trechot road (23 km) in the Republic of Congo. The said activities to be carried out in the Republic of Congo also include Technical Assistance (TA) to the executing agency and related tasks, as well as auditing services. The overall outputs of the planned studies in both countries will be technical reports enabling, in phase 2, the physical implementation of the envisaged road infrastructures on each side of the bridge. The estimated overall duration of the studies is 12 months, starting from award and signing of study services’ contract.
