In 2026, Kazakhstan will commission 2.64 GW of traditional and renewable energy capacities, including 4 combined cycle gas turbines, 2 wind farms (Aspan Energo 50 MW and Giperboreya 100 MW in Kostanay region), 4 solar stations, and expansions of two existing plants, producing 16 billion kWh annually.
