Title:
Liberia - Technical and capacity building assistance to the Government
Detail:
The proposed intervention is an African Development Bank grant of US$1,400,000 to Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning for the Technical and Capacity Building Assistance Project. The project is composed of the following components: (i) feasibility studies and provision of a master plan for the Buchanan Economic zone and Special Agro Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZs) in Liberia, (ii) preparation of sector strategies and programs for key sectors of the economy to support the Government’s National Development Strategy, (iii) development of the Ministry of Public Works’ Five-Years (2019-2024) Infrastructure Strategic Plan, and (iv) organization of an Infrastructure Sector Review Conference for inputs to ensure a broad-based consultative process involving stakeholders from public, private, civil society organizations and government institutions.
