Madagascar - Project to strengthen governance through digitisation

The proposed Project for Strengthening Governance through Digitalisation (PREGODI) aims to support the Government of Madagascar's efforts to improve governance and public financial management through increased digitalisation. The grant is for a total amount of one million (1,000,000) Units of Account from the Transition Support Facility (TSF) Pillar III resources under ADF-15. The TAF Pillar III resources that are the subject of this operation support capacity building, notably through the provision of technical assistance for the development of digital solutions and human capacity building in the use of digital tools. Digitalisation and capacity building will enable the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO) to fully exploit the potential of the new asset declaration regime in the fight against corruption and Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs). The operation has three (3) components, namely: (i) optimising public debt management through digitisation; (ii) strengthening the fight against corruption and IFFs through digitisation; and (iii) project management. The duration is 36 months maximum.
