Improving MIDIS’s Information Services within the National Targeting System (SINAFO) at the National Level Project Ministerio de Economia y Finanzas (Ministry of Economy and Finance, MEF) Direccion General de Focalizacion (General Targeting Directorate, DGFIS) - MIDIS The project development objective is to make Peru’s National Targeting System more inclusive, dynamic, and integrated for use by targeted social programs. The PDO includes the adoption of several concepts already within Peru’s National Targeting System. Inclusive means ensuring that all poor and vulnerable households are included in the National Household Registry (RNH), the primary registry used to target social programs. Dynamic refers to the need to ensure socioeconomic classification (SEC) and household composition are updated regularly in the RNH. Integrated refers to the merging of data on households’ needs with data on availability of social programs and other administrative databases for implementing social policy.
