This project aims to undertake a full feasibility study, Detailed Engineering Design and Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Upgrading of 183-Km Luuq –Dollow- Beled Hawo Road Road from Gravel to Bitumen Standard. This will be done in a full feasibility study for the project to produce feasibility reports to inform the Government of Somalia and potential financiers and investors on the key considerations for implementation of the project. The upgrading of the badly deteriorated gravel road when completed will also promote food production, improve market accessibility and create jobs for the youths in Somalia. The Feasibility Study will help to determine the technical, economic, allied to the development of the proposed project, including assessing the financial option(s) for the construction, operationalization and maintenance of the infrastructure asset. The main study outputs from the contract will be: a) Technical Options Report; b) Economic Analysis & Financing Options Report; c) Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Report and d) Complete Feasibility Study Report.
