Title:
Sudan - Support to the Humanitarian and Food Security Response
Detail:
The proposed operation concerns a grant of USD 1 Million from the resources of the Special Relief Fund to the World Food Program as emergency assistance to the Republic of The Sudan towards addressing the immediate food security and nutritional needs of those most vulnerable. This is the Bank Group’s response to the current humanitarian consequences of the conflict. This will help to provide lifesaving assistance, reduce morbidity and mortality while contributing to longer term food security and poverty reduction development objectives. The operation will be implemented over a period of 3 months (July 2023 to September 2023). Climate finance is not attributed to this project.
