Zimbabwe - Zimbabwe Arrears Clearance Dialogue Enhancement Project (ZACDEP)
Detail:
The Zimbabwe Arrears Clearance Dialogue Enhancement Project (ZACDEP) is a multi-sector governance and institutional support project in Zimbabwe designed to strengthen the country’s dialogue, coordination, and technical capacity for implementing the roadmap for arrears clearance and debt resolution. The project builds on progress achieved under the earlier Support for Arrears Clearance and Governance Enhancement (SACAGE) project and seeks to sustain momentum in Zimbabwe’s structured engagement with creditors, development partners, civil society, and other stakeholders. It supports dialogue and reforms related to macroeconomic stabilization, public debt management, governance, anti-corruption, land tenure, and compensation of former farm owners. The project has three components: (i) enhancing dialogue on arrears clearance and debt resolution, (ii) strengthening capacity on debt management, arrears clearance, land tenure and governance, and (iii) project management. The total project cost is estimated at UA 3.352 million, financed by a TSF Pillar III grant of UA 3.0 million and an in-kind Government counterpart contribution of UA 352,000. The executing agency is the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion (MOFEDIP).
