Zimbabwe - ZIM-FUND - Emergency Power Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project – Consolidation Works
Detail:
The proposed operation concerns the consolidation work of the Emergency Power Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project (EPIRP) in Zimbabwe. The Project is critical to the rehabilitation of the country power system network and will improve the availability and reliability of electricity supply thereby supporting water supply and sanitation delivery as well as agriculture irrigation needs. The implementation of the Emergency Power Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project (EPIRP) has been done in two phases with Phase I having been completed in April 2016. The Consolidation Works implementation will be completed within the new Zimbabwe Multi-Donor Trust Fund (ZimFund) mandate which expires on of 20 October 2020. These Consolidation Works is comprised of two main components: (i) supply and installation of substation ancillaries and equipment; and (ii) Project Management.
