T2425.16 Gravel Supply Defence Road Banana Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the supply and delivery of Type 2.3 gravel to various stockpile locations on Defence Road as described in more detail in Part 5- Scope. Delivery of the gravel is to commence immediately on the execution of the contract.As part of Council-s regular road inspections, it was noted that there was a for upgrading of sections of Defence Road from a gravel road standard to a bitumen sealed road standard. To undertake these works Council requires a stockpile of Type 2.3 gravel to various stockpile locations along Defence Road (Cracow end). Council is looking for a contractor to undertake the supply and delivery of Type 2.3 gravel as per the Appendices of this document.
