Das Sanierungsprojekt läuft voraussichtlich bis 2./3. Quartal 2027. Es erfolgt eine umfassende Sanierung der verschiedenen Bereiche (HKLS, Elektrotechnik, Fördertechnik, Gastrobereich, Redoutensäle etc). Parallel zu den Baumaßnahmen wird der laufende Betrieb im Gebäudekomplex aufrechterhalten (mit Ausnahme der tatsächlich vom Umbau betroffenen Räume in den verfügbaren Bauzeitfenstern sowie des Gastronomiebetriebs im festgelegten Umfang).
