Deze 9 woonbuurten omvatten 47 leefgroepen, waarvan er een aantal in dagopvang (campussen Zonhoven en Borgloon) Ter Heide biedt ondersteuning aan ca. 435 bewoners. Voor het beheer van medicatie wordt tot op heden samengewerkt met 1 apotheker. De aanlevering van medicatie gebeurt op 4 campussen. Er wordt gewerkt met medicatie inmultidoses. De vloeibare medicatie (druppels en siropen) worden door de leefgroepmedewerkers handmatig klaargezet. De verpleegkundigen (aanwezig van 9u00 tot 16u00) beheren momenteel de medicatieschema’s van onze bewoners, en zien toe op de bestellingen van medicatie. Binnen Ter Heide is er een samenwerkingsverband met 7 artsen. Zij doen hun rondes in de voor- en namiddagen. Qua software wordt enkel gewerkt met de medische software CareConnect van de firma Corilus. Er is geen ander programma in onze instelling voorhanden om de medicatie te beheren.
