Study Assignment: Reviewing Office with Design Story The ' new ' parsonage of Ramsel in Herselt was built in 1910. The building was designed by architect L. van Criekinge from Aarschot, his original plans were preserved in the State Archives. The construction of the parsonage was completed in July 1911. The works were carried out by E. de Greef, contractor from Heist-op-den-Berg. The former parsonage is currently used by the church factory and some associations, which only largely use the ground floor. On the floors the building is almost empty. In the long term, the municipality of Herselt wants to give this building a valuable re-use, linked to a long-term vision about Ramsel-Centrum for which the municipality had a master plan developed in 2022: https: www.herselt.be producten detail 1791 masterplan-ramsel . In this context, the Kempens Landschap Foundation has advised the municipality of Herselt to have a redevelopment study carried out with design research. Based on this, well -founded decisions can be made about the further future of this building.
