The single-point solution should: Facilitate peer supporters connecting with users in a secure and confidential way; Performance monitoring; Offer a mobile application with secured data transfer; Be customizable (supports, metrics); Program training and an onboarding program for administrators; and Have servers hosted by infrastructure located in Canada. The platform should not include: User identifiable information; Email addresses; Advertisements; Telephone numbers; and Location tracking. This RFI will also help to estimate future budgetary requirements should the TPS elect to proceed with such an initiative. This RFI document does not form a competitive bid process or legal offer. In the event the TPS is satisfied that there is sufficient interest, availability, and feasibility of providing suitable solutions, the TPS may, but is not obligated to initiate a competitive bidding opportunity. Respondents must understand that this RFI document and their participation by responding is not interpreted or construed as a solicitation for tenders or proposals. TPS encourages participation from potential solution providers in this RFI process, which will be reported to an evaluation committee. In turn, the committee will consider submitted responses when determining whether or not to initiate a competitive process to solicit bids for all or part of any of the areas that fall under the peer support management solution. This RFI will not be used to pre-qualify or screen respondents in connection with a future competitive bidding process, if any is to be initiated by the TPS.  It is the respondent’s responsibility to monitor the MERX website at www.MERX.com for possible subsequent bidding opportunities, which will be open to the public whether or not a response to this RFI is made.
