| Overview | Tbips - System Modernization, Development, Support, Maintenance… This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 2 for services in the Pacific Region for the following categories: • Level 3 A.1 Application Software Architect, • Level 3 A.6 Programmer Software Developer, • Level 2 A.7 Programmer Analyst, • Level 1 A.10 Test Coordinator, • Level 3 I.3 Database Analyst IM Administrator, and • Level 3 P.8 IT Project Leader Description of Work: DFO has a broad mandate, with the authority to regulate and enforce activities, develop policies, provide services, and manage programs. The core priorities for DFO are to ensure the economic prosperity of fisheries and the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems. This includes the modernization, development, support, and maintenance of systems within the Pacific Region-s Fisheries and Harbour Management Systems and Aquatic Ecosystems product families. DFO Pacific Region has developed several data management systems to effectively manage fisheries data. These include but are not limited to the Aquaculture Integrated Information System (AQUIIS), the Fisheries Regulations Information System (FRIS), and the Enhancement Project Database (E-Pro). AQUIIS comprises a set of highly customized and complex applications which are the primary systems used by the Pacific Region Aquaculture Management Division and the National Aquaculture Directorate.
