In 2016 Mechanical Insufflator-Exsufflator cough assist devices were added as a benefit to the Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living (SAIL) Respiratory Equipment Program. Currently, records indicate on average 102 cough assists devices are provided for home use to patients in Saskatchewan. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information from vendors regarding their cough assist devices to understand the available options and capabilities in the market.
