The purpose of this site visit is to notify contractors of the upcoming project and enable them to visit the site before the winter season begins. The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is requesting expressions of interest to attend a site visit at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) on October 29, 2024, at 11:00 am, with regards to the replacement and repair of the WWTP’s Primary Building roof. The Primary Building is a two-story building that houses four primary sedimentation tanks (PSTs) and other equipment supporting the WWTP process. It was originally constructed in 1986 and expanded in 1998. The existing roof consists of five different areas, totalling 10,800 sf. The table below describes the five roof assemblies with the proposed new roof. Any contractors or suppliers interested in attending the site visit should email Michelle Blattner and Tim Stubbins to confirm attendance. All attendees must wear safety shoes, high-visibility vests, and hard hats.
