This equipment will facilitate on-going collaborative research examining whether high pressure processing may be a suitable alternative to the current Holder Pasteurization technique in ensuring equivalent microbiological safety of donor human milk and preservation heat sensitive nutrients and bioactive components that promote optimal growth and neurodevelopment of infants whenever their own parent’s milk is unavailable.
