Overview | RFI - Enterprise Voice solution City of Abbotsford The City is looking to for respondents to provide insight into solutions to replace its telephony system with a completely new solution the meets its current needs and requirement into the future. Reviewing the City’s current environment and requirements respondents should provide information on newer or emerging solutions that will meet and or exceed the current needs through the next 5 to 10 years. Current EnvironmentThe City’s current core Voice solution consists of an Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise, and an OpenText CXE Voicemail platform.Highlights of the current state are:560 digital phones40 IP Phones296 Virtual Extensions20 Conference room phones35 Analog fax lines2 PRI’s (46 channels)All staff are licensed for Microsoft M365 E3 or F3There are presently 10 buildings to consider which are all mainly connected via leased data services. A couple of buildings are connected via IP SEC VPN over Business Internet but would have a smaller phone user footprint at these locations. Internet access from these locations is backhauled to a single access point; the respective buildings do not have local Internet access. |
